Staging a triathlon is an ambitious undertaking and requires meticulous planning by multiple stakeholders to ensure the safest possible conditions for athletes, spectators, officials, and all other participants. Athletes intending to participate in international competitions must comply with the Pre-Participation Examination (PPE) requirements prescribed by World Triathlon. This medical examination is mandatory to assess an athlete’s fitness and readiness to compete at the international level. Athletes must undergo the prescribed medical evaluation and submit the required PPE Questionnaire to the Federation in accordance with World Triathlon regulations prior to participation in international events.
